Stage 1: Call for Abstracts
We are pleased to announce the opening of the call for abstracts for the 8th International Congress A ERA BIM. We invite members of the academic and AECO industry communities to submit proposals for innovative research and professional practices by June 28, 2025.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstract Length: 400 to 500 words
- Languages: Portuguese, Spanish, and English
- Format: APA 7th edition
- Platform: OpenConf
Recommended Structure
- Title*: Clear and concise
- Keywords*: Five keywords that identify the paper's topics
- Introduction: Problems, objectives, and relevance
- Methodology: Methods, steps, and techniques
- Results: Achieved or expected
- Discussion: Contribution and impact
- References: Relevant
*The title and keywords must be in English.
Evaluation Criteria
- Originality
- Relevance / contribution to the field
- Clarity of presentation / writing
- Methodological and technical rigor
- Quality of references
Review Process
The review will be double-blind, carried out by an International Scientific-Technical Committee specialized in the Congress themes.
Publication
Approved final versions of papers presented at the event will be published in the Congress Proceedings with ISBN and will be available with open access on the Sinaenco website. See 2024 edition
General Rules
- The research proposal or professional practice report must be aligned with the main theme or thematic topics of the Congress.
- The work must be unpublished and original, authored by the proponents. It cannot have been previously published or be in the process of being evaluated in any other publication.
- The submitted text must not contain the names of the authors, institutional affiliations or any information that allows their identification, in order to guarantee blind peer review.
- The submission of the papers must be made, obligatorily, through the OpenConf platform.
- For the article to be presented at the Congress and published in the Proceedings, at least one of the authors must register for the event, within the deadline established by the organization and upon payment of the corresponding fee.
- Each author may link up to two papers to their registration, but may, however, participate as a co-author in other papers, as long as these are linked to the registrations of other authors. The paper must be presented at the Congress by at least one of the authors. The dates and times of the presentations will be defined by the organization and announced in due course.
